Sent receipts as proof that I had been shopping here. Have just received a letter from tps to say that they have cancelled the charge.

I have just received a fine also after shopping their for 3hrs 24min. My wife is disabled and I had my niece and her 2 year old so went for lunch. There is not enough signs and I did not see these neer weher we parked in the disabled bay. Will be taking this alot further. No wonder why they call it rip off Britain.

I also just received a parking fine for parking there and think it's disgusting. I live out of the area and also spent 3 and 1/2 hours what with having lunch etc. I bet many people are getting ripped off by this...

Will not be shopping here again. Took my elderly disabled mother here, not realising there was a limit on parking times. Have just received a £50 fine for parking here for 3 and 1/2 hours.I dont feel this was an excessive amount of time spent shopping and having lunch in store.

  • Pokesdown & Southbourne Ex-servicemen's Club, John Saunders ex Major (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
As an ex-serviceman's club, I fully intended to join, but alas, on a visit last Friday by invitation, I found it more of a working man's club than one with a military connection. The committee is a lot to be desired, with aparently no leadership or guidance from the, loosely used term 'officers', who I am told were ex national servicemen with no real knowledge of the services. As an ex major in the Coldstream Guards, I thought it would be a club where ex servicemen of what ever service, could have a common ground to discuss the often interesting service experiences. Remove the military umbrella, and name it as it is, "The Pokesdown and Southbourne Working Man's Club"

I was surprised at the warmth of the welcome at this club. Absolutely amazed at the low prices of drinks and the variety or entertainment and activities something for everyone from fishing to golf to skittles.definately somewhere worthy of visiting on a regular basis.

No zombies right. Just a few witches and satanic priests (but they all are seriously scared of wasted students).
