Sadly the brewery (Greene King) closed this pub on 8-May-2016, when it was realised that the value of the land exceeded the projected takings of the business.

I received a parking penalty through the post today 18/9/13, from my shopping trip with friends on the 7th of September, they were so impressed with The Range that we obviously outstayed our welcome in the car park, I was horrified to receive the fine for £90, or £50 if I pay now!!, looking at the TPS website I noticed comments written by other unfortunate locals who like me really enjoy shopping at The Range as well as the other retail stores, so I phoned the range immediately to see if they could help me, I have just spoken to a very nice lady called Lucy, and she advised me that she will ensure that the fine is cancelled by sending the parking company an email with my details, "so simple", Just want to say a Big Thank You to Lucy for her very professional kindness and Thank You to The Range for being so helpful to their customers, I do not know of any other company that would be so obliging, will certainly keep shopping at The Range, but be more mindful of the time I spend parking!!!, although Lucy suggested that I let them know if I am going to be more than 5 hrs and they will take my car details and then "No Fine" "MAGIC" what more can you ask for??

I emailed the parking company (TPS)with copies of receipts to prove I was a genuine customer plus, on reading the above comments I also rang Matalan who were polite and sympathetic but said there was nothing they could do! I then rang The Range and spoke to a very pleasant lady who was familiar with it all, said that so far they had 100% success in getting the tickets cancelled and put me on to her colleague who was also very helpful and knew exactly what to do. She took the details and emailed TPS to get it cancelled. Today I recived a letter from TPS saying exactly that - it was cancelled. Result! Very impressed with The Range.

Rang the Range and bobs your uncle the ticket was cancelled. Very polite duty manager, explained everything to me and said they are getting the time limit increased to 4hrs which although not perfect is better than nothing. I will continue to shop in the range that's for sure.

I have received an "Invoice"for a parking fee of £70 for apparently overstaying my welcome at Turbary Retail Park,I would like to see a photograph of the notice and where it is positioned to say what the charges are!!! I am a Pensioner and will be contacting one of the stores on said park for a refund. It is absolutely distugsting to charge for a shopping/lunch outing, keep this up and the public will refuse to pay the charges and therefore more businesses will close.

I recieved one of these fines and the thing that struck me was the way it was presented. It was not at all clear what it was that they were saying you had done wrong nor did it actually directly say pay the money. Isuspect that little word juggling is to get around some rules. I am getting on to tradning standards to see if it is actually legal. but in the meantime i rang the range, which is where i was shopping, and the lady was sooo lovely and immediately just took my details and said that the fine would be revoked. I think it is a great shame that the stores get tarnished with the same brush as whoever it is that has hired this 'parking enforcement' company as it would seem looking on here that they are as fed up as the customers about this situation. Def do not pay, speak to the store. I was not even asked to produce a receipt or anything. :-)

I hope everybody who has been issued with a parking ticket has refused to pay or simply ignored the demands-don't be caught out, just ignore them and they will eventually go away-it is just a scam and will never go to court.

My friend was visiting from London. I suggested the Range etc at Turbary Retail Park, near Poole, as she was expecting to spend a fair amount of money. We probably between us spent around £200. We had lunch and then tea and cake around 4.30. No idea that there was a time limit on the parking. Hadnt noticed any signs. Perhaps the shops should put LARGE signs up, so that we are aware of the restrictions. I shall seriously reconsider shopping here. This matter needs to be taken up by the retailers. In this economic climate for once the customer should be listened to forgoodness sake.

I also got mine cancelled straight away by the Range, just speak to the Duty Manager.

Having just received a charge notice like all you others, I am glad I googled this matter. I have never noticed a sign stating a time limit and having spent the amount of money I did, will no way out of principle be paying this. If it goes as far as court, I will gladly attend together with a representative of the Echo, my local mp and drum up as much negative publicity as possible. You shop owners need to take quick action before your profits suffer.

I AM THE DIRECTOR AND REGISTERED MANAGER OF A LOCAL CARE AGENCY. MY CARER WAS PHOTOGRAPHED WITH ONE OF OUR DISABLED CLIENTS - ASSISTING HER OUT OF THE CAR, HELPING HER INTO HER WHEELCHAIR AND THEN PHOTOGRAPHED HELPING OUR CLIENT OUT OF HER WHEELCHAIR AND INTO THE CAR AND DRIVING AWAY OUT OF THE CAR PARK. OUR CARER TOOK THIS CLIENT OUT FOR A SHOPPING DAY, A ONCE A WEEK VISIT FOR SOMEONE WHO IS NOT ABLE TO DO THIS ON HER OWN. THEY VISITED ALL THE SHOPS AND WERE AT THE TURBURY RETAIL PARK FOR 4 HOURS AND 51 MINUTES. OUR CARER HAS JUST BEEN FINED £70.00 !!! WHY ??? WHAT ABSOLUTE NONENSE. WHAT A DREADFUL WAY TO STEAL MONEY FROM THE PUBLIC.!!!?? THEY WANTED TO SPEND MONEY IN THE STORES. IN THIS RECESSION SURELY THAT IS A GOOD THING!! DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR AND A POOR SHOW FOR TURBURY RETAIL PARK. I WONDER HOW MANY OF YOUR CUSTOMERS WILL COME BACK.

I have just recieved a £70 fee for parking here.I'm absolutely disgusted as I spent £50 in the Dunelm and had breakfast at the Range, completly unaware that there was a parking restriction. I will be taking this further!

My elderly parents also got caught out by this parking scam. They didn't see any signs and had lunch there as well as visiting many of the shops. Elderly and disabled people will not be able to rush around the shops. They have sent their £50 cheque to TPS already. Does any one know if there is any way of them claiming the money back?
